Martin Kiszko

Martin Kiszko is a poet, composer and academic. He has composed over 200 scores for film and television and released nine sound track albums with major European or chestras.His score for the Dream work spromo (made for Steven Spielberg/BBC) won Best Music Video atthe Missoula Film Festival USA. Martin has also written nine screen play sand directed ITV drama Steps. As the ‘UK’s GreenPoet’, Martin has published Green Poems for a Blue Planet and Verse for the Earth both illustrated by Aardman Animation’s four time Oscar winning director Nick Park and endorsed by internationally acclaimed environment a list Jonathon Porritt.

Martin’s one-man show based on the books has been performed from LA to India and from Malta to the Edinburgh Fringe! Martin was Poet in Residence for Bristol European Green Capital City in 2015 and has recently been awarded an honorary doctorate (D.Litt) from the University of Bristol in recognition of his poetry, music and environmental work.
